I’ve been running for 20+ years and when I started running, I had to drive my routes (or ask my mom to drive me before I could drive myself!) to figure out how long they were. I couldn’t afford a GPS running watch – they were brand new! — and smartphones weren’t a thing. While technology can be annoying in some ways, it’s also amazing to be able to easily to track our runs!

If you’re a runner, you know you should be stretching. However, I’d be willing to bet the majority of runners aren’t great at making time to warm up before a run or stretching afterwards. I used to be one of these runners too, but after constant running injuries, I made a commitment to make warming up and cooling down a priority. My favorite workouts are chin ups, squats and deadlifts; also sprints, training outside in nature. It’s been more than a year of being consistent, of improving my health and body. Brent is an amazing coach, trainer, & instructor. He believed in me and reminded me of my power and how fearless and strong I am.

The world we live in is becoming increasingly more toxic each and every day. Hundreds of thousands of new synthetic chemicals are being introduced into the environment and consumer products every year without ever going through proper safety testing. Because of this, it is absolutely critical to take proactive action to educate ourselves about the potential sources of these chemicals, their health effects, and how we can avoid them.

It happens to almost everyone. We work out, watch what we eat, and get into shape. Then we slide back into our old habits, and the pounds pile on. One day, you look at the scale or in the mirror and realize that something has to be done. However, you can’t just get up and hit the gym for two hours unless you want to risk agony or even injury.
