WARAK NGENDOG (captured at Central Java Parade) - a mythical creature from Semarang, Central Java. Usually made a few days before Ramadhan (holy month for moslem), as the closing of dugderan (a traditional festival to celebrating ramadhan). This creature is believed to represent 3 different ethnics which live in Semarang: Javanese, Arabian, and Chinese. We can see the head is like dragon head (Chinese), while the body is the combination of buraq.
