This is my first knit kitchen towel out of the big set. Check other towels on my blog. The towel is a perfect and needful present for any occasion: Easter, Christmas, Mother's Day and so on. You might have seen many crochet waffle towels already, so I was desperately looking for the same or similar stitch pattern. Knit this towel together with me and you will be surprised how beautiful and easy it is.
The pattern uses worsted weight yarn and size 5 mm (size 8 US) single pointed knitting needles. It’s knit flat and you can either use self-striping yarn or use different shades of yarn to make this toque. I indicate where to change the colours of yarn in the pattern so there isn’t any confusion. But please note, you can knit the beanie in one solid colour also. There’s no reason why you can’t. This tuque is in adult sizes only! It is NOT knit in the traditional way by casting on stitches to go a
This is the more simplified version of my very popular Moccasin Slippers with a Cuff. I wanted to design a pattern that was still very minimalistic but didn’t require any special techniques or multiple needles. This is what I came up with. The pattern is knitted on one set of single pointed, size 4 mm (US 6) needles. The pattern itself only involves the knit stitch, k2tog and picking up stitches. Easy peasy! For real. And if it’s not, I’ve included a TON of photos to help you along. Like all my
Here is the second knit turban pattern that I want to share with others. This time the pattern is perfect for beginners because it's knitted flat and after sewn from both sides. For the turban you may use any yarn you have but to make the projects even faster I have chosen a bulky weight yarn. The finished hat has plenty of stretch to fit most sizes. If you was a smaller size just take 5.5 or 5 mm knitting needles and do not change the pattern.
The Trento Fingerless Gloves are an easy knitting pattern in 5 sizes. The free pattern includes sizing for toddler, child, teen / small adult, medium and large adult sizes. A cozy pair of fingerless gloves keep your wrists and hands warm while your fingers are free to move. This simple pattern is knit flat on straight needles. These gloves are a simple design so even beginners can knit them. The fingerless gloves pattern makes great gifts for kids and teens to add to their winter wardrobe. They’
Knit dishcloths are so fun and useful to make. I love a simple knitting pattern that’s relaxing and mindless to work on in the evening. This easy pattern is made of mostly knits with just one purl row. It’s a basic four row repeat so you can watch a show and not pay too much attention. The fabric this stitch pattern makes lies nice and flat. Even so, I add a few selvedge stitches just to frame it out nicely.
Knit this textured dishcloth for use at home or gift a few to friends and loved ones. Knit dishcloths are fun and functional so they make great gifts for everyone! These quick projects like dish cloths and wash cloths are a great way to use up small amounts of yarn you have laying around. My favorite dishcloth patterns have textured stitches with an easy repeat. This simple pattern does all these. The texture is easy to knit and great for washing dishes.
This classic knit beret is knitted flat and has an invisible seam. The pattern is perfect for beginners and those who do not like to knit in rounds. For the beret use any medium worsted weight yarn and 2 pairs of circular or straight needles - 3.5 mm for the ribbing and 4.5 mm for the main part. Optionally you can attach a yarn pom pom of the same color or fur pom as I did.
Don't fret if you happened to miss the boat buying the Taylor Swift cardigan sweater. This Folklore Cardigan Pattern is nearly identical to the original. While it will take some experience and comfort with cables and color changes, the end result of this Taylor Swift knit sweater is so worth the time put in. Featuring the same chunky cabled design, slouchy fit, and black trim, you just need to provide some embroidered stars to make it perfect. (P.S. - swap out the black for red to make the alter

It's time, you think to yourself, to finally try knitting a hat. You'll be happy to hear it's really not much more difficult than scarves, dishcloths, and blankets. These flat knit hat patterns are the perfect patterns with which to start, because they don't demand anything from you except th
The Low Tide Throw works over an 8 row repeat and the stitches are worked in increments of 12. The framing is worked as you work the blanket. That means that there isn’t any stitches to pick up or adding to the blanket once the body is completed. It works up fairly quickly with super chunky yarn and large needles. The blanket is sized for a 50″ x 60″ and the terms are written using US terminology. I’ve created a video to help with your blanket.
Knit this sweet polar bear knitting pattern in Red Heart Hygge Fur yarn with US Size 6 straight knitting needles. All parts are knit with straight needles and then seamed and stuffed, making it an easy knit. It can easily be adapted to work in the round if you prefer. Only uses basic knitting stitches and you will also need a yarn needle, polyester fiberfill, black embroidery floss or scrap yarn and a set of safety eyes.
If you want a quick little something to knit up for a craft fair or use up those extra bits of yarn you just can’t throw out, this pattern is for you. Make it as big or as small as you like. If done correctly, it will always turn out square. Using very basic stitches, nearly anyone can make this. If you need the pattern, you can read it on my website. In all honesty, this pattern is so simple and repetitive that you may be able to watch the video for a couple minutes and get how to make it. You
This is my second pattern for Slouchy Double Layer Reversible Knit Hat. Previously I have already posted a pattern for reversible hat but the inner later was the same color as the outer one. This time I will show you how to change color and you will learn even easier provisional cast on method (without crochet hook and waste free tail). Before knitting I do recommend to check your gauge. Check my video tutorial if you have any questions.
Hi to all my fellow knitters! It seems like a lot of young people are really captivated by the bold style and signature monochromatic wardrobe of this character in the new adaptation, so I decided to give it a try and knit a vest inspired by one I’ve seen her wear. I liked the checkered vest in black and white, the one with the large square. It has a simple design, it’s oversized-which is very trendy nowadays, and I thought it would look great on my daughters if any of them would like to wear it
Since 2015, Prime Publishing has been proud to host shawls for charity drives. Youth Judah Zipped Cardigan was inspired 100% by my 6th child. He had a very specific sweater design in his mind that he wanted. He had a list of things that needed to be checked of from stitch pattern, to fit, to color. Oh, and it HAD to be zipped. It was a challenge to tick all the boxes but I made his sweater dream come true and now you get the pattern! Judah is a bottom-up drop sleeve zipped cardigan knit flat and seamed in a super soft yarn.
