Cook, stirring, until everything is combined (~2 mins). 6️⃣ Create a small well in the middle of the rice and add the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter in the well. Let the rice fry in the melted butter, undisturbed, until crispy (2-3 mins). Stir the rice to mix up the buttery pieces throughout. Please see recipe below: Marinade •2lb chicken thighs cleaned and diced •1 egg •1/2c cornstarch •1/4c water •1 tsp salt •1/2tsp baking soda •1tbs oil •white pepper Marinate for a minimum of 30min. Fry the chicken at 325 degrees for the first time. Then turn the heat up and cook them for a second time at 400 degrees to get crispy. 1M views · 11K reactions | Chicken Lo Mein Under 30 Minutes ✨ 10 oz spaghetti pasta (or Lo Mein noodles) 1 lbs chicken breast, thinly sliced 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 medium onion, sliced 1 large carrot, thinly sliced 1 medium bell pepper, sliced 1 medium zucchini, sliced 2 cups broccoli florets Lo Mein Sauce: 1 cup chicken broth 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tsp sesame oil 2 garlic cloves, pressed 1 tsp fresh ginger, minched 1/4 tsp white pepper (or black pepper) 1/2 Tbs corn starch Extra: Salt and pepper Oil for cooking Sesame oil 1. Cook the noodles one minute shy of what the package instructs. 2. Drain and toss with a little sesame oil. Set aside. (To save some time, start cooking the chicken and the vegetables as soon as the water starts to boil and the noodles go in.) 3. To a Pyrex cup Add chicken broth, low sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, white pepper. Mix until the sugar dissolves and set aside. 4. To the lo mein sauce, add cornstarch, mix everything together and pour into the wok. Allow the sauce to thicken and everything to cook in the sauce for a couple of minutes then add the noodles. Toss the noodles to evenly coat in lo mein sauce. Cook for a minute or two. 7. Removed from heat and enjoy! I like these to be bigger pieces. I used beef stir fry strips, but honestly any type of beef here will work. This was about 1 lb. Marinade the beef in the following:- 2 tbsp soy sauce- 2 tbsp oyster sauce- 1 tbsp rice vinegar- 2 tbsp Bachans- 1 tbsp corn starch- 1 tbsp black pepper When ready, drop the veggies on the griddle first and season with my All Purpose rub. Once they get soft, add the beef, spread it out so it can get a nice sear and continue cooking. Add some minced garlic towards the end and mix everything together. I like to serve it over white rice, garnished with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. I told you this one was quick and easy!
