On The Theme of B-A-C-H
Towards the end of his life, Bach composed a fugue theme based on his family name. The notes are B, A, C and H (the German called B natural as H and B-flat as B). The four-letter name appears here to also stand as the representation of four-voice fugue. The swirling ornament interact and meshed into each other to describe the nature of fugue composition where the voices interact with each other. This design was inspired by that concept.
