The Goan Pork Empadinhas has a Portuguese influence. Empadinhas are mini pork pies made with a sweet pastry dough and filled with a spicy pork stuffing. Empadinhas uses a lot of egg yolks as the pastry is kneaded with egg yolks itself. You would not find Empadinhas on a regular Goan restaurant menu, but ask any Goan from the Portuguese era and they will tell you about it!
