For years, the story went around that Albert Einstein failed math. This is simply untrue. What he did fail was his university entrance exam. The fact is, young Albert took the exam at age 16 as somewhat of a prodigy and scored outstanding marks in Math and Science, but failed the other general education sections. He went back for another year of schooling and was admitted to university at age 17.
