Ikat from Tenganan, Bali Group, Indonesia. Geringsing wayang kebo. Field divided into semicircles by four-pointed stars. In the semicircles are two groups of three people, probably representing an audience between a priest, his wife and a devotee. The borders consist of three rows of star flowers. Black on ecru. Cloth has a warm undertone, probably due to a bath of ayar kuning.
