Ramadan Reinspired: Day Eight To most of us, Ramadan has rather become a month of feasting than fasting. We make sure that our bellies are filled to the maximum at Suhoor and at Iftar but we fail to realize that what really needs to be fed above the line this month, is our soul. Since Shaitan is locked up in Ramadan, this is the perfect time to explore our inner capability to get closer than ever to our Creator.
Ramadan Reinspired: Day Seven We dress up in our best attire at work to impress our boss & coworkers. We make sure our swag is on point when we are at the mall chilling with our friends. But when it comes Allah, the Boss of bosses & the Closest of all friends, unfortunately our hygiene and appearance take a back seat. Let’s make sure that from the next salah on wards, we look presentable and are perfumed in a manner that conforms to the etiquette of the Masjid.
Ramadan Reinspired: Day Six Neighbors occupy a very high status in Islam. So much so that a person cannot be called a true Muslim if his neighbors go to bed hungry. The blessed month is an excellent opportunity to get know our neighbors both Muslim and not yet Muslim. Invite them for an Iftar and make use of this rare opportunity to let them experience the spirit of Ramadan
The time during the month of Ramadan is blessed and precious. It is a golden opportunity to seek closeness to Allah. Before we know it, this month of mercy and forgiveness will be over. We should try and spend every moment possible in the worship of Allah so that we can make the most of this blessing. Avoid getting into unwanted conversations instead use the time to recite a lot of Quran and avoid oversleeping so that you get enough time to pray the nafil prayers.
