Simple Spanish Rice - I've been trying to make the perfect Spanish Rice (like what my in-laws make or what you find at a Mexican restaurant) for 10 years. I've attempted everything that my husband has shown me, but mine always turns out soggy and/or flavorless. This recipe is everything I've hoped to achieve. Definitely NOT healthy but authentic and delicious!
2 (8 ounce) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (room temperature) 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup butter, melted Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press it into the bottom of your baking dish sealing perforations.
