Luther Blissett (AC Milan, 1983–1984, 30 apps, 5 goals). Blissett moved to AC Milan for £1 million in June 1983 but scored only 5 goals in 30 appearances. The legend goes that Milan had confused him with his Watford teammate John Barnes. "No matter how much money you have here", Blissett famously complained about Italy, "you can't seem to get Rice Krispies." He scored just 5 times in 30 games and was sold back to Watford for just over half what Milan paid.
