Southern Tier Choklat is a 10 ABV American Imperial Stout. The appearance is dark brown with a beige head and the nose all chocolate milk. The palate is that rich chocolate milk with some vanilla and fruit notes, maybe dark cherry. The mouthfeel is syrupy but crisp and you only get a slight alcohol burn on the finish, making the 10 ABV almost shocking. Southern Tier Choklat is a 10 ABV American Imperial Stout. The appearance is dark brown with a beige head and the nose all chocolate milk. New Belgium + Perennial Artisan Ales Salted Belgian Chocolate Stout -- Nice chocolate aroma with a light noticeable yeast component. Sweet, sugary, and with a good dose of roasted malt on the nose too. Chocolate flavors really pop at the beginning, but the beer is not sweet at all. And the Belgian yeast was very prominent, much more than the aroma let on. You also will not miss the alcohol kick in the front of this beer!
