**mac thomas (senior design at fueled): really cool site parallax scrolling on transparent midground on graphic background interactive scrolling and buttons all buttons designed by him show cases his work in a drawn wireframe
Another static site. The opening image is a bit stereotypical of graphic designers. The nice text on a coloured background is seen too often. The scroll bar which follows the user down the page is tasty though. Slim and subtle but with a very practical UI application.
BJÖRN MEIER'S site is a static page. The opening content of the site is an image slider of his work. I like the unobtrusive colour scheme of the site. I don't like how zoomed in the content is after the image slider. It looks like a page filler or an after thought.
Kendra Schaefer Portfolio: I love this portfolio because of the clean style and the huge pictures. She used Wordpress for this site, and I think she did a custom theme for herself, because as the theme name it is her name, Kendra Schaefer.
This is another stereotypical design site page layout. The block content and the colour scheme gives it away. I don't like the use of google maps at the end of the page. It stops the user from scrolling and forces them to scroll out of google maps instead of continuing down the page. Sloppy.
I like the colour scheme and the effort for the site to look different. The content is a bit messy and could be laid out better. The design teams recent work is done well at the bottom of the page and the 'Courier' font is apt.
I like the page layout but it doesn't stand out from among its peers. The colour scheme, the background pattern and colour it all screams graphic designer. I do like how when the user scrolls over the images that information comes up about the image.
