Louise Nevelson has larger, bolder, and generally more open-looking cuts nearing the top of the piece, and as you look lower, the cuts of the wood are more narrow and detailed. It demonstrates rhythm and movement because a person's eye would look specifically from top to bottom with this piece.  (Louise Nevelson // White Vertical Water 1972)
