One of the most influential people in my 20's and 30's (@two_a_m_o) gave me a book that was titled "The Five People You Meet In Heaven". Reading that book changed something inside of me. It made me realize I was #lost (and even though I didn't have an exit plan to escape the devastating loneliness I felt daily in my soul) ... just to acknowledge I was lost was life changing. I appreciated how Mitch Albom narrated the story and with every word I became weaved in the story and #enthralled in…
LIKES - Scarlett believes that Mitch wrote this book about the first time she ever called him. Of course, she knows his last name isn't really Albom - it's a pseudonym to protect himself from crazy fangirls.
"There are two stories for every life; the one you live and the one others tell." Quote from The First Phone Call from Heaven by Mitch Albom
took me a looong time to decided which Tuesday with Morrie quote i wanted to pin because theres so many good ones, if you haven't read the book i highly recommend it, one of my favorite books of all time
1-12-2016 Sometimes you finish a book and are sad that it's over, this was one of those books for me. Loved this story narrated by Music that follows Frankie throughout his life in a Forrest Gump like romp through music history. I would love to see this on the big screen.
Death ends a life not a relationship. Tuesdays with Morrie. Mitch.
