Sitting on a paper moon, 1910s-1940s Retronaut | Retronaut - See the past like you wouldn't believe.

Sitting on a paper moon, - Retronaut. Have just one of these paper moon photos in my own collection

It's only a paper moon.... Often a fixture at fairs, parties and carnivals, people sat in the crescent of a smiling “paper moon,” as if lifted to the stars. A photographic phenomena primarily of the early half of the 20th century, it captivated the imagination of a world pre-Photoshop and gave many a memorable image of great times.

How to: Paper Moon Photobooth

Apparent photos with the crescent moon were a big deal in the Victorian time frame. Maybe do something like this as a photo booth area? For people to take fun pictures? i really want to make the moon & star props "love this idea"

“This unbelievably picturesque paper moon was built for Valentine's weekend! We love Lumiere's dedication to the true art of tintype…”

look to the moon the same hour as me ... and forever, our love shall ever be. things you believe at the first, make nights brighter at the last.
