Romans 4:19-21 . "He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promises of God..." Cuts me to the heart!

"He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promises of God.

ROMANS As the Scriptures say, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is true before God, the one Abraham believed—the God who gives life to the dead and speaks of things that don’t yet exist as if they are real.

Romans This is how I feel about Halloween, Homeschooling vs. Public/Private School, Alcohol consumption, & a plethora of other topics.

This is profoundly powerful scripture about faith.....Abraham believed God despite his circumstances. He believed God, against what the physical evidence said....He choose to believe God because he knew God was faithful. I choose to believe in the word of God over every scrap of evidence I see with my naked eyes. I believe not what I see, but what I know by faith.

When God counted Abraham as righteous, it wasn't just for Abraham's benefit. It was recorded for our benefit, too, assuring us that God will also count us as righteous if we believe in Him, the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
