Sunsets cannot be separated from one's journey. Some says "the more we go to the east of Indonesia, the more beautiful the sunsets are". There are sunsets we're only able to see by climbing hills, ones we see through tall grass, ones we enjoy from the vast sea of white sand. And there is one we can see through a giant rock, and one we see through the dancing mangroves. These sunsets can be seen from this island. Only this island, Sumba. www.exploresumba.com

Even Google maps hasn’t discovered this pristine waterfall yet. With its turquoise fresh water Waimarang waterfall is perhaps the most beautiful waterfall of Sumba. The trek to the waterfall is not the easiest, but this makes the reward of a swim even more worth it. After the hike and swim enjoy a picnic looking over the waterfall and regain some energy for the way back. Are you ready to explore Sumba with us? www.exploresumba.com
