30 Day Workout Challenge
There are lots of ways we can encourage positive thoughts. Our mindset is everything & we do have a choice in how we perceive things & how we then respond. It's important not to let the behaviour of others disturb our inner peace. We are responsible for how we think & our actions. It is possible to retrain our thinking & break the habits of a lifetime but it does take practice. Let go of that baggage that's holding you back & CHOOSE to make changes :-)
Developing healthy daily routine activities is a good habit to have. Building these strategies into our daily routine not only helps us to be healthier, they help us cope with change better & can help us to feel happier overall. No matter what our circumstance is, there are things that we can do to improve our well-being particularly our mental health. Creating healthy habits can take time as it involves making adjustments to our lives. Pick one thing, work on it, master it, move on to the next.
There are many ways we can learn to calm ourselves when feeling overwhelmed. Movement & music can help a lot & can help settle & relax us. Coming back to our breath is something we can learn to control along with recognizing our thought patterns. Getting outside for anything, including exercise, can help relieve tension. If all else fails, reach out for help by learning when & how to do this. Someone will always listen & it can help us to know & feel we are not alone. 1 2 3 BREATHE :-)
Empowerment is something we can learn for ourselves & to show those around us. We have been taught that being different is weird or strange -it's not true! Embrace our uniqueness & share our gifts & talents along the way because it might help others. Speak up for what we 'feel', in our gut & heart, is the right thing to do. Move out of our comfort zone to grow, achieve new heights & have the courage & strength to free ourselves from patterns of behaviour that don't serve us anymore. EMPOWER US!
Learning how to self-regulate our emotions is an essential life skill especially for children with ADHD. Children with ADHD often have a hard time self-regulating where emotions can range in frequency & change rapidly which can largely be due to frustration. But there are ways we can help children with ADHD develop skills to help them self-regulate that they can then use for life. We can even use these ideas for us adults!
