Basilosaurus is Latin for “King Lizard”, but actually they are mammals, early whales to be specific. Basilosaurus was 50-70 ft. (18M) in length and it was the largest predator of its time. It lived 45-34 Million Years Ago in the late Eocene Period, raising its young in warm shallow seas. This species of whale was unique because they had very small hind limbs in addition to their front flippers.

Tom Björklund Four winged dinosaur (detail, work in progress) Again, not attempting to depict any specific species, rather trying to describe a four winged bird like creature in general, displaying features known from fossil finds. I'm not always sure how to interpret the feathers. On some fossils they look irregular in form and length (due to moult?) and often like they were not quite specialized yet, not aerodynamic enough for advanced flying anyway.
