Hinggi Sumba. Indonesia 48"x 110"plus fringe Warp ikat. Cotton. The wide dark alligator border and narrow strip border at the bottom are repeated at the top. This man's shoulder cloth or sarong is probably 20 to 30 years old. It was dyed with the traditional indigo and kombu, and is in excellent condition.
