Aziza was born under the Islam faith. Although she never been taught much she still speaks the language of the Koran, Arabic. Her surroundings influenced her to be muslim such as the Taliban, her parents, and culture. "She has begun practicing verses form the Koran".

The Koran is holy book of Islam. Composed of 114 Suras, or chapters, this book sets forth acceptable conduct for people of the Muslim faith. Muslims believe that the Koran is the word of God.

This image represents Aziza's first abuse. Aziza first abuse was when she was thrown in a room during a hot summer. Aziza almost died due to dehydration and starvation. " Just one glass, Rasheed. Not for me. Do it for her. You don't want her blood on your hands." Laila pleaded to help Aziza.

Serously this is about the baby taking out the trash its not abuse till you have a bruise

This image is a representation of the issues Aziza faceed for being born a girl during the Taliban regime. We can see that girls were look down on and are strangled away from rights and freedom. Laila asked Zaman about Aziza's stuttering and he said "I thought she'd always done that" this could mean that Aziza is scared and anxious.

Belgium’s Le Soir notes that even rapidly expanding industries are suffering the evil effects of the current economic conditions.

This image represent that Aziza acts mature for her age. Aziza adopts the "adult headshake" and does not act childish."Aziza had turned into a calm, pensive little girl, with a demeanor that to Laila seemed beyond her six years...even-tempered peacemaker to her volatile sibling" (297), evidence that aziza acts more mature.

Aziza is a happy child. Despite being disliked by her "father", Rasheed, she still remains a joyful harami in a political and economics corrupt country. Rasheed says to Aziza " Give it back, i can't afford both." and buys Zalmai toys over hers. She does not feel saddened by this.

The Prophet (salah allauh ‘alayhi wa salam) said: “If your good deeds make you happy and your bad deeds make you sad, then you are a b.

Aziza is a smart child who loves to learn. When Aziza was at the orphanage, she learned new stuff even though she knew she will be punished if the taliban caught her. When Laila and Mariam visits, she tells them all the knowledge she learned from her teacher. "Right. And when they slide past each other , they catch and slip-see, mammy?-and it releases energy, which travels to the earth's surface and make it shake."(323)

Aziza being born a girl affected her relations with Rasheed. Aziza is given no attention and is disliked by Rasheed. Although when Zalmai is born, he is given the lots of attention and is spoiled to the point of financial issues. "Sometimes she caught Rasheed looking at Aziza in the most peculiar way".
