Next DC Comics Style Full Redesign - Batman! I went though a couple of versions before landing on this one…wanted him to be simple, bold and and have a threatening silhouette. Also wanted to cheat the outside underwear by using light armor layers. Normally he suit would have dark eyes, but when the tech is activated they glow. His Batcave is also designed taking elements from prior ones while making new parts. The platform on the right will hold the batmobile. Lots of cool Easter Eggs hidden…

Concept design of BATMAN X GLITCH CMPLX

This was the final project for Coran Stone "Kinetic Character Design" course. Our task was to create our own version of Batman. I decided on developing a version where Batman's origin story began with his time as a medic during WW2. The focus of this project was shape language and efficient design. This character design is tailored for 2D animation and would need to be as simplified as possible for production purposes.
