The Aston Martin V8 Vantage appeared in February 1977 as a performance-enhanced version of the V8. Externally, it was recognisable by deep front skirts, a clad radiator grille with recessed auxiliary headlights, widened wheel arches and a spoiler integrated into the tailgate.
