we got a new chicken coop! the girls just made the move. it wasn't without resistance, (ever tried to catch a chicken?), but i assured them the move was for their own good.

I like this barn with a chicken run attached. I imagine having the coop inside the barn, one or two horse stalls, a tack room and maybe lengthen it a bit more for a milking parlor.

Spring is finally here and so is the chicken coop! About a month ago we started on this new chicken coop and we finally finished it a few weeks ago. You can see the making of the new coop here.

I like the idea of having a little enclosure outside of the coop for the future chickens to roam around so that certain dogs I know can't attack them until they learn that chickens are friends - not food :) Also, I love the old screen door and just the overall look of this
