Closed Blanket Stitch is another beautiful variation of the blanket stitch. The closed blanket stitch takes the basic stitch and turns it into a row of triangles connected by a shared line. This stitch gives a very clean finish to the edges. Because blanket stitch creates a thread outline along the edges of your piece, it can mask uneven edges and wonky cutting.
