Over the last few years, coworking has been changing the way people rent office space, and now one company is betting on coliving to take hold. Commonspace is creating microunits in a Syracuse building that center around larger shared spaces—sort of like a dorm for adults. Each of the 21 300-square-foot units will have a tiny kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living space, with access to the shared common areas that include a chef’s kitchen, a game room, and a TV room.
