This scene was inspired by the magic mirror scene in Disney's Snow White. I repurposed the mirror I had created for another project. The arch and pillars were created with Nanite + world-aligned textures in mind. I wanted these to be a different material than the surrounding structure. Perhaps they're older and the rest was constructed around them. The end goal for this was to get two top-down maps rendered, one during the day and one at night. Lumen made it so simple swap between the two.
