Did you know blue is the rarest / least common flower colour? A floral that’s always the top of every couple’s wishlist is DELPHINIUM! These to me are the epitome of a whimsical garden wedding, and they’re so desirable as its one of the few blue florals available as a cut flower. Delphinium is a gorgeous flower and it has the most divine stem length. When they’re in season (like right now!) I use them in every single wedding if I can! They are so dainty and the blue colour is just magic...

It’s early summer and delphiniums, a favorite of the perennial garden, are in full bloom. I’ve always loved them for their beautiful range of colours and their attractiveness to my beloved hummingbirds. Once the delphiniums open, I rarely see the hummers at my feeders but I get to watch them flying
