Took an old wooden fence and recycled it into a tall dog bed. Initially I made this so my pup wouldn't block the AC/Heat vent, so the deck sat right above the vent. I have since moved it by our window and with its height was able to keep my soundbar sub woofer underneath it. This was the first time I have used a kreg jig, and I must say they are great! The bed was only sealed with Polycrylic satin finish to keep it looking old and weathered.
