The book uses colorful illustration to teach an important lesson, thinking about others. The book describes everyone has an invisible bucket, you might not see it but it is there. The bucket’s purpose is to hold your good thoughts that make you warm and fuzzy.

Our words & actions matter. We can use them to build people up or tear them down. I love introducing Bucket Filling and Bucket Dipping to my class. We fill each other buckets by writing meaningful compliments. Learning the difference between superficial comments “You look pretty” vs. deeper compliments “Thank you for not laughing when I tripped and helping me pick up my papers” is a must.
