The Nintendo Game & Watch was created by Gunpei Yokoi, who released a popular series of 59 games throughout the '80s. From "Donkey Kong" to "Mario" and "Zelda," many of Nintendo's characters are featured in these handheld games, which are still sought after by collectors almost 30 years later.

The Game and Watch console debuted in 1980, and functioned as both a gaming console and a watch. (real creative name, huh?) The console's games would later serve as the inspiration for the Super Smash Bros. Character Mr. Game and Watch.
