I always love difficult conditions in races and Cairns delivered a hot wetsuit swim, a hot windy bike course and an even hotter marathon! I’m not particularly good in the heat, but I love the adversity. Giddy’up! A 9.36 finish was good enough for 5th. Far from my best performance over this distance but…
