I learned a trick to revive markers that are dried out, especially those expensive ones. This works on alcohol based markers, haven't tried watercolor markers yet. Anyway, pull out the nib of the marker with tweezers, take rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol or maybe even vodka might work, using an eye dropper, syringe or pipette, drop a few drops of alcohol into the hole of the marker where the nib goes. Replace the nib, and shake. You may have to wait a little while for the alcohol to soak…

To revive an alcohol based marker it is really simple. All u have to do is first pull out the nib just be carful not to damage the nib . Step 2 get some rubbing alcohol and pour some of it into the tube of the marker. U don’t need very much (I just eye balled it). Step 3 put nib back into the marker and let it sit so that the alcohol goes down into the nib for about a day just to be safe. I will post pics for how to let it sit and the alcohol I used.
