Jean Delville was a symbolist painter, author, poet, hermetic philosopher, teacher and occultist from Belgium. Delville helped organized the Salons d'Art Idéaliste (the Belgian Idealist movement); a group whose goal was to continue the tradition of idealistic or spiritual Artworks. Delville traced this idea-based concept all the way back to the ancient Greek and Egyptian esoteric traditions.
