James Michael Welter was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base when he disappeared while on leave in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on January 1, 1986. Private investigators hired by the family, which includes nine siblings, have turned up reports that indicates that Welter may have assumed a different name and left the Coast for Shreveport, Louisiana, with a girlfriend. After a few years of debate, Keesler Air Force Base will soon be hiring over 100 positions for maintenance squadrons of 10 air crafts known as Flying Jennies.The air crafts stationed at the 403rd Wing were created for hauling soldiers, equipment and anything else that may need to be carried by the military.
