Laura Ilko - Selah Yarn Co - Natural Alpaca Yarn on Instagram: "I use magic loop for a lot!! I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it but I do not like using DPNS, so I do all my small circumference knitting in either short circulars or magic loop! I’ve heard a lot of people say it’s too complicated, so I decided to do a short tutorial!! If you’re someone who struggles at magic loop I encourage you to grab some scrap yarn, a really long circular needle, and come practice with me 💕 #learntoknit #learntoknowlovetoknit #neverknotknitting #nevernotknitting #knittersofinsta #knittersofinstagram #knit #knittingtips #knitting tricks #knittingtipsandtricks #knitting101 #learntoknit" How To Magic Loop Knit, Knitting Magic Loop, Knitting On Circular Needles, Knitting A Circle, Knitting With Circular Needles, Magic Loop Knitting Tutorials, Knooking Tutorial Videos, Circular Knitting Patterns Free, Knooking Tutorial

Rosemary (Romi) Hill on Instagram: "Hey hey my friends! The other day when I was showing my stranded knitting technique, a lovely knitter asked about the loop stitch on the bottom of my demo piece. So here you go! This is the start of my pattern “Someone Call A Taxi,” and it’s available on Ravelry or designsbyromi.com ☺️ I love this stitch because it’s a great alternative to a fur cuff, and it’s so cute! I use a finger, but I have also seen people use their thumb. If you need to adjust the loop, the time to do it is right before you knit the second stitch into the origin stitch, but after you bring the yarn to the back and into position. Up to that point, you can make the loop looser if you need some leeway to help you make the stitch. It’s much more difficult to adjust after that second k Loop Stitch, Stranded Knitting, Knit Stitch Patterns, Knit Stitch, Knitting Techniques, The Loop, Knitting Stitches, Rosemary, Christmas Ideas

Normally, you bind off the last two stitches the regular way, and then you break the working yarn and pull out the last loop all the way. This will create a knot. While it is entirely secure, you often create an ear because the edge stitches are a bit too loose. That’s because there is nothing to anchor them on the left side. I will show you How to bind off/ cast off the last stitch in knitting and make it look neater.
