INGREDIENTS- 5 lb bone in leg of lamb  Extra virgin Olive oil 1 Tbsp kosher salt  2 tsp black pepper  2 tsp Aleppo pepper  For the MARYNADE- 1 Tbsp tomato paste  2 Tbsp hot pepper paste or harissa 2 Tbsp pomegranate molasses or balsamic glaze  1 Tbsp olive oil 1 1/2 cups beef broth OTHER INGREDIENTS  1 onion sliced into wings Cloves of garlic (optional) DIRECTIONS- Remove silver skin and cut slits into the lamb leg. Drizzle with olive oil and Season with salt, pepper and Aleppo pepper.  In a small bowl combine the marinade ingredients and slather it all over the lamb leg.
