This is the Military Base that I had to design for the Fan Art project based on METRO Franchise. This base has a lot of work, not only talking about the drawing itself but in the distribution of the space, the thinking behind each corner of the base. The big challenge was to create something that could really work in the real work, that looks very grounded and very realistic. Concept art for movie '10 Cloverfield Lane' from 2014, while at Bad Robot Productions. Since most of the movie takes place inside the bunker, I worked closely with the Production Designer to figure out every single aspect, down to the pillow patterns. Lots of trips to the Salvation Army for reference!

If you’ve always wanted to spend the night in a concrete bunker, there’s a tiny vacation house in the Netherlands that is ready to make your dreams come true. This concrete bunker, part of the Dutch wartime defenses during World War II, has been sitting unused ever since. Belgian studio B-ILD undertook to turn it into a vacation home that would accommodate four people, quite the challenge since its interior area totals only 9 square meters (97 square feet).
