At Amycakes Bakery we called this classic combination "Golden Chocolate" cake, and it was one of our favorite flavors.1x batch yields one 6" three-layer cake and a 2x batch yields one 8" three-layer cake cut out with cake rings using the Cut and Stack Method.

  • • 3 Egg yolks

  • • 1/4 cup Corn syrup, Light
Baking & Spices
  • • 233 g All-purpose flour
  • • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • • 2 tbsp Clearjel or 3 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding mix, Instant
  • • 1/4 tsp Cream of tartar
  • • 1 Easy chocolate ganache drizzle, prepared
  • • 1 Gold crystal sugar sprinkles
  • • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • • 200 g Sugar
  • • 1 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract

  • • 1 1/2 tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil

  • • 1 stick Butter, Salted
  • • 3/4 cup Buttermilk
