One of the most fun experiences in DnD is to adopt an NPC into your group for a while. And well, in our case it was this very perceptive fellow, Sonduur. We were fighting our way through a clamity stricken Super-Dungeon, when we came upon this shy, but very helpful Nothic. He showed us the way to the library we were looking for, if we would help him find something in return. We don't know what that thing is as of yet. When we discovered the library, the resident Mage denied Sonduur entrance…

This is one of the gnarliest worm creature designs that I think I've ever seen. It comes from artist Dave Rapoza , and I love the craziness of it. The artist says he "wanted to channel some Super Metroid for it." I think he nailed it.
