Remember the old optical illusion posters your brother probably had when you were younger? You had to look at them really closely and circles would start spinning or new shapes would appear? Well believe it or not optical illusions are the latest word in fashion?

For her latest couture collection, Dutch designer Iris van Herpen created hypnotic garments that distorted the models' bodies.

This black and white outfit will play tricks on the eyes in the best way possible. Strategically placed stripes on this bodycon dress create the illusion of a tiny waist, regardless of actual size. Ankle strap heels draw attention to the smallest part of the leg and pointed toes create a long line. To complete the look we added a layered chain link necklace, a studded leather cuff, and crystal and stud spike clutch.
