This is the delightfully pretty cottage where Judy and I spend a considerable amount of time when we are not away travelling. The former farm cottage in Isham in Northamptonshire dates from 1668 and is Grade II-listed. Originally it is thought that the ground floor was used to house animals with the living accommodation in the loft being reached via a ladder.
