Love neutrals and an accent walk to make the space stand out!
We live in a 90 year old bungalow in Seattle, WA. When it came time to design the nursery, I wanted to have some vintage charge to compliment the charerstics of our home like the orignal crown molding and glass door knobs which is why I love the crib so much. It has an antique feel without actually being an old crib. ;) My favorite feature of the room is definitely the wallpaper. It adds a fun pop of color and was so easy to install. With our home being so old, I was worried the walls…

As a professional commercial interior designer, I love mixing different textures and styles to create my own masterpiece. Anytime I get the opportunity to do residential projects, I get excited! I wanted to create a nursery where you felt a calming sense of peace when you entered. A room to raise our daughter in that was simple, yet had special details throughout. I'm a lover of neutrals but also love a single pop of color, so I designed this playroom with that in mind. It's a small room so I focused on incorporating wall textures that packed a punch to add interest but not clutter the floor of the small room. My husband is a first responder so I designed the room with a unique superhero theme, ranging from the large marvel prints, to the wood wall…

I wanted this nursery to be calm and cozy, a peaceful retreat in the home. I am not a huge fan of bright pinks and purples, so I went with a green that felt inviting and rich and softened it up with touches of mauve. Rather than a feature wall, we decided to do an easy wainscoting around the bottom half of the room. That way it feels like each corner can be featured.
