Valley Forge was a campsight used by the Continental Army led by George Washington. Valley Forge represented a major turning point in the Revolutionary War. There is a big misconception about the suffering and poor conditions the sodliers went through, however although there was hardship, it was seen as the usual by the troops. During the time at Valley Forge the American forces were trained by Baron Friedrich von Steuben and bacame a true fighting unit.

March 8 is International Women's Day (US has its equivalent on the 26th of August) which celebrates the struggle for women's rights. Throughout history, many strong women had to rise against the odds and fight for their dreams and passions, equality and solidarity among men. Their bravery contributed to shaping today's world, and has to be remembered.
