DIY Sidewalk Chalk Paint (Easy Recipe!)

Your kids will love this easy way of turning sidewalk chalk into puffy paint! It's so much easier to use than drawing chalk, especially for toddlers and smaller children. This has become my favorite boredom buster during the summer, and a great way to get the kids outside and away from screens.

Megan Morris on Instagram: "This ocean art is a little messy, but let me tell you - it’s completely worth it! Squirt shaving cream and paint into a tray, and swirl around with a toothpick. Then press a sheet of cardstock firmly onto the shaving cream and LIFT 😍 Scrape the excess off with a popsicle stick or ruler and glue on fish cut outs or use stickers to create your ocean scene. Besides the shaving cream, I let my students do all of the work. They squirted the paint, pressed and lifted the paper, scraped with the popsicle stick, and glued on their fish. Sure, it was a messy project, but they totally owned it and did amazingly well following all the steps. Add this to your plans this week - YOU’LL LOVE IT! ✨🐠 Supply list: - Activity Trays (from @lakeshorelearning) - Shaving crea Painting With Shaving Cream, Shaving Cream Activities, Shark Crafts Preschool, Fish Cut Outs, Ocean Life Art, Shaving Cream Art, Ocean Art Projects, Shaving Cream Painting, Fish Cut
