Michael Tran on Instagram: "ghost mochi filled with strawberry & red bean 🫘👻🍓  starting october with a new series of halloween mochi 🫶   ib @okunonolife   mochi recipe (makes 8) 1 cup mochiko glutinous rice flour 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup milk 1 .5 tbsp unsalted butter 1/4 tapioca starch  filling sweetened red bean paste (about 250-300 grams) 8 strawberries  1. Cut and dry strawberries and scoop about 1.5 tbsp of red bean paste per strawberry and set aside.  2. Cover the strawberries with the red bean and refrigerate while you make the mochi.  3. Mix the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and milk together until combined.  4. Place in microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second increments for 2 minutes. 5. Knead the mochi and incorporate the unsalted butter.
