The heart is deceitful

“The heart is deceitful above all things.” – Jeremiah 17:9 Why is the human heart deceitful and wicked? Because it often desires things that are contrary to what God wants for us. And if we let our own hearts make decisions without taking into consideration what the Word of God says, we will be led astray.

I have told this simple fact to many Christians , the Bible is never to be interpreted by feelings, emotions or experiences ! All those things fluctuate , change- but scripture never changes; Heb 13;8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday , today and forever . Num 23;19 God is not a man that He should lie.
