I have always done a four station rotation in my classroom when I taught Kindergarten. I am doing the same in Transitional or Pre-Kindergarten. One station is usually an independent, play-based center. So the first week of school, I decided that it would be a great idea to let the children play in our PLAYHOUSE that I set up in small groups!
