Linda Germain - The fuzzy line is created with a Trace Monoprint. I used white card stock and Daniel Smith water soluble block printing ink. It is not on the glycerin plate. You roll out a thin layer of ink on a palette, and then place the print paper on top of the ink and draw on the back of the print paper. So you need to use ink that does not dry too fast. The black line on this one is the trace mono print technique.

Today was the conclusion of the trace monotype workshop with printmaker Jenny Robinson. It was a wonderful class full of experimentation and beautiful work.
